Riad Argan

We stayed 5 nights at the lovely Riad Argan (2 adults & kids aged 11 & 13) & thoroughly enjoyed our time. The owner Mr Hakim was attentive & professional from day 1. Breakfast was delicious & plentiful (thanks Mr Hakim for getting up early to prepare breakfast for us at 7am & 8am most mornings!). Our rooms were beautiful, clean & spacious with big comfortable beds & lovely hot showers.The Riad is conveniently located less than 10 mins walk to the main Jemaa el F’naa square with lots of shops & nice restaurants close by, but the Riad itself is very quiet & peaceful. Would not hesitate to stay here again in future.

Lovely stay at Riad Argan celebrating a special date for us. The new owner Hakim was very kind to us, and we were happy to see that even though management changed since we were there last, the staff team is the same with great Habiba and Soufiane and the new addition Leila. Would like to mention that Leila’s food was ridiculously delicious and we could see all the hard work she was doing. Thank you to the whole team.We are looking forward to going back soon.

Ely

Lovely stay in a great location! Our family (2 adults and 4 kids ages 1,6,9,12) were given two rooms on the first floor, and it was more than enough room for us. Beds were comfortable and our breakfast tables were right outside our room. The roof area was under co structuring during our stay so we did t get to see the views from there unfortunately. The Hosts were absolutely wonderful and kindly made dinner reservations for us at awesome restaurants they suggested for us (which we loved). The location in the Medina is perfect for walking around Marakeech! Great experience!

Our family and friend group stayed one night at the Riad Argan and were thrilled with the accomodations, staff, medina location, food, and owner. It is a boutique riad which gives an intimate feel to the experience. There is quick access to the souk and Jemma el-Fnaa square, as well. The staff is fantastic, attentive to both needs and detail, and I had a wonderful conversation with the owner as the night wound down. The next morning the breakfast was to die for! If we return to Marrakesh, and I know we will, this will be where we stay as we know it will be the perfect place to begin our ventures into the beautiful city.

Wrapping up a 9 day tour of Morocco was a two night stay at the Riad Argan. A lovely Riad with cozy rooftop seating great for a glass of wine is well situated and was made even more enjoyable by the attention of the friendly and courteous staff as well as helpful and gracious host. D and M

I visited with a friend in 2016, and when the opportunity arose to come back with my husband and baby, I didn't hesitate to re-book at the Riad Argan. The ownership had changed since my last visit, but the quality of service is still top-notch.The manager, Soufiane, is attentive and gracious, and helped us arrange everything including carseat, crib, etc. I even had him help take my husband to a public hammam! We also chose to eat dinner at the Riad all three nights of our stay, which was relaxing, delicious, and authentic.The location is perfect for exploring the Medina and is easy to find (and remember!) from the main square.The other thing I would mention is that we had a young baby who woke in the night a few times. No other guests could hear her, nor could we hear anyone else. The construction is very well done for noise cancellation!If I return to Marrakech, I won't hesitate to stay here again! Chula Vista

We stayed for 2 nights at the lovely Riad Argan. The riad is located in the medina and about a 5 minute walk from the main square and market. The room was quite large and very clean. The roof top area was nice and comfortable with tables and chairs. Soufiane, the manager, was very kind and helpful. He provided us with a map and directions to the main square. He also gave us his what’s app number in case we needed assistance. Our son bought a toy top in the market and didn’t know how to use it so Soufiane showed him. Soufiane’s son also played with our son for a while. The breakfast is delicious and was included with our stay. The owner was also visiting during our stay and was very kind. We chatted with him for a while. I highly recommend a stay at Riad Argan while visiting Marrackech.

We have stayed at Riad Argan on several occasions and it remains consistently excellent. The owner, Hakim and staff ( in particular Soufiane) look after their guests so well and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are exceptionally clean and towels changed daily. The breakfast is also very tasty. It is only a short walk from the square. Would highly recommend.

In the heart of Medina. Very nice rooms and excellent hospitality. Everything was great, especially the home cooked tajin from Pedro's sister :) phenomenal! Best mint tea and overall great experience.

New York City

We recently spent five days at Riad Argan (we had actually booked for six nights but changed our plans, and the manager very graciously agreed to waive the charges for the night that we didn't stay) and it was a wonderful introduction to Marrakech. The Riad is well-located near the souk and the main square as well as a number of other tourist attractions, and a quick walk to a parking lot where you can catch a taxi. The Riad is beautifully decorated and our room was very comfortable. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay again when we return.

Very nice hotel and very nice people working here. We ate one evening tajine with vegetables and beef in the hotel, for me it was the best meal of the whole 1 week vacation through Morocco. Thank you very much!

Bern

The Riad is very well situated. Just few steps away from jemaa el fna and in the middle of the souk. The Riad itself has 5 guest rooms and is managed by soufiane and his 3 sisters. They are all very nice and super attentive. The room comes with an own bathroom and breakfast is included in the room price. The Riad can also arrange airport transfer and all kind of other arrangements, hammams, restaurants and birthday surprises. Be aware, a Riad can be loud as it’s a home. The room also comes with AC and a safe.The only negative was the hard bed but maybe that’s just me ;)

The furniture was very fashionable and tasteful. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive.One unfortunate thing was that it wasn't so clean. It may be that there is not enough manpower.

Irvine

My boyfriend and I stayed at this riad for 3 nights and had a great time. The riad is located close enough to the main square to be a few minutes walk away but far enough to sleep soundly at night. The stay came with a surprisingly large and delicious breakfast and the workers are so attentive! We asked in advance if there was a place we could do a small batch of laundry and the riad did it for us. They also printed our boarding passes so we didn’t have to find a printing service ourselves. Our room also came with a safe since the rooms within the courtyard did not have a lock (the main door to the outside required a key). The workers very clearly explained how to get to the main square and gave us their number to contact with WhatsApp if we had any questions. One thing to note, I think the walls where our bed was situated is very thick so the WiFi signal was a bit weak, but was much stronger around our couch area/ main courtyard. Also bring earplugs since the rooms are close together. Overall great stay and would highly recommend!

Minneapolis

We stayed at Riad Argan for one night on our 8 days tour to Morocco, Riad is centrally located , close to the main square and markets . Staff is Friendly , we had a ground floor bedroom which was spacious will all nice amenities , bathroom and shower was also very good . They cook breakfast for you which is decent .Overall excellent stay at Riad Argan .

We stayed for a 3 night break in October and had the best time. Great location walking distance everywhere. The beautifully appointed rooms were spotlessly clean with fresh towels every day. The staff were attentive, friendly and nothing was too much bother. They met us at the taxi and walked us to the front door on our arrival. They would happily arrange anything for you to ensure your stay was pleasurable. Breakfast was cooked to order ‘Pedro’ was a great chef and would have happily arranged for evening meals or lunches too. From the mayhem that is the Médina and Souks to come back to the tranquility of the Riad Argan was like enveloping yourself in a big hug each time. Definitely recommend and looking forward to our return.

We stayed at the Riad Argan for 3 nights ,from the 22nd October. we would like to say a big thank you to Soufian and all the wonderful staff, who looked after us so kindly, seeing to our needs and making us feel so welcome.The Riad is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean . We were served a delicious breakfast every morning .The Riad is in a great location , minutes away from the main square and the Bahia Palace surrounded by shops and eateries. After a crazy, exciting day in the Medina it was so lovely to come back to the calm and quiet of the Riad Argan to relax with peppermint tea. We would definitely choose to stay at the Riad Argan on our next visit back to Marrakech , we had such a fantastic time .thank you once again .

I've been the second time in Riad Argan after a friend recommended this place to me and I love the calm and relaxed atmosphere over here. The people that work there are very helpful and super friendly and I also met the owner Hakim and had a Moroccan tea together, very humble and smart person.

I stayed with my daughter in 3 riad and a resort for our adventure holiday but Argan riad was the best of them all. A very nice different and chic riad,, the cleanliness the coziness and the style, I love it. My room was very spacious and stylish, so is the rooftop. Good location, few meters from the Jemaa-el-Fnac but still very quiet place. Thank you to the host Ayoub, very nice and welcoming, always ready to help, Nahima's food was delicious, tagine, marocan salad...I don't see nothing bad to say about the place, will definitely stay again on my next trip and would recommend it to anybody. Thank you guys!

The service was incredible, everyone who works here is really friendly and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The room was perfect, really big and great value for money. The Riad itself is beautiful with a pool at its heart. The tea they offered on arrival was the best we had in Marrakech. Location is perfect as well, located in a quiet backstreet in the heart of the Medina. 10/10!

Great position! Ayoub was incredibly nice and helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left! We had a great time at Riad Argan, highly recommended! Couldn't get enough of their awesome mint tea, which we were free to ask at any time, and the breakfast was various and very tasty! We were told upon our arrival that this would be our home for the next few days, and we really felt that. We had an awesome stay!

Ayoub was brilliant at making us feel welcome and looked after, he was there all the time to help/answer questions, always smiling, honest and reliable. The riad is clean and comfortable and very near the centre of the old town so everywhere is walkable.

Brilliant stay at Riad Argan. Good location - a short walk away from Jama El Fnaa but far enough that you don’t hear the hustle and bussle. Ayuub and Nooruddean fantastic hosts and very welcoming. My son loved seeing them everyday

The Riad Argan is a charming, clean, and quiet place with just five rooms. The location is truly spectacular and central, allowing us to easily walk to all the main points of interest. We felt completely safe throughout our stay; the place was secure and cozy. Ayoub proved to be an exceptional host, warm, friendly, and always ready to help. His hospitality made us feel like part of the family. On one of the days, we went to the mountains and had to leave before breakfast time, Ayoub provided us with a coffee and a cake before we left so that we wouldn't leave without eating, as everything was closed by that time... On our last day, Ayoub went one step further, taking the initiative to contact the taxi driver, who only spoke Arabic and was having trouble locating the agreed meeting point for our journey to the airport. Thanks to Ayoub's efforts, we arrived at the airport on time, ending our stay with gratitude for his exceptional care.

excellent location, clean and pretty riad. the best thing though is the staff. Nhourin (I apologise if i got this wrong) the manager was amazing. He made us feel incredibly welcomed and comfortable. the Riad is under new management so there was no WiFi, he hotspot us during our entire stay. As two girls travelling alone, our location didn’t feel the most safe, He organised a taxi for us and walked us to the taxi and then organised the return taxi and met us at the taxi to walk us back to the Riad every time. they made home cooked food at the most reasonable price and it was delicious! the Riad had a cosy and clean feel.

The room was spacious, the water supply was clean and the shower was comfortable with good water pressure. The staff were friendly and helped us arrange a taxi at short notice The tajine and harila dinners, which were featured in the Japanese guidebook 'Globe-Trotter', were also cheap and tasty. The Bahia Palace, Spice Souk and Hammam are close by and we enjoyed sightseeing until just before our flight.
